Renting from Andium Homes – Our offer to you
Renting from us is different to most other landlords. When you rent from us, this is what you can expect:
- A fixed term tenancy agreement of at least 1 year, which will be renewed provided you still meet the Gateway criteria and you have kept to the terms of your agreement;
- We will not charge you a deposit, unlike most other landlords;
- We will charge you rent on the first of each month for that month and ask you to pay it by direct debit, unless your rent is being paid by Income Support;
- We will allow you to end your tenancy early if you wish, with just 1 months notice;
- We will comprehensively maintain your home; including
- A 24-hour emergency repairs service, this means that a member of our maintenance team and our contractors are always on hand to deal with any emergency repairs; and
- We will carry out regular planned maintenance on your home to make sure it continues to meet our standards;
- If your medical circumstances change which means your home needs minor adaptations to assist you, we will carry out this work free of charge where it is possible to do so;
- We will deal robustly with instances of Anti-Social Behaviour and general estate management issues which may impact on your quality of life;
- We will provide you with free access to our dedicated Client App and WebPortal – Andium@Home – which allows you to manage your tenancy yourself.
