Mobility scooter charging points
Clients at Jane Sandeman Court are advised that we are planning to create a communal mobility scooter charging facility in the garden pergola. This will provide a safe covered place to charge and store mobility scooters on the estate.
Currently some scooters are stored in the communal corridors contrary to the advice of the States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service. Scooters in communal hallways constitute a fire risk and may impede rescue attempts in the event of a fire.
This work will be carried out by JMEC Electrical Contractors and is programmed to commence on Monday 16th January or shortly thereafter.
To begin the work one of the two benches will be removed to allow the necessary space for charge points to be installed, initially there will be four of these in total.
Andium Homes kindly requests that parents or adults responsible for children who may be visiting take the time to advise their children of the dangers associated with these works and to ensure that they do not play in the defined work area.
It is anticipated that the works will take around two weeks to complete. We apologise for any inconvenience this project may cause and should you have any concerns please feel free to contact us.
