24 families are moving in to new homes this week as Andium Homes completes its latest development. The new homes at Les Anquetils & Les Petites Anquetils, St Clement, offer a variety of accommodation, including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom flats with three adapted houses to suit those with disabilities.
One of the new residents, Mrs Licinia Henriques, said “I’m so happy, I love my new house, it is finished to a very high standard and is a really good size. I’m looking forward to moving in.”
There is no pause in the overall redevelopment and Andium Homes is already out to tender for the next phase of 21 new houses. Outline proposals for the final phase which will include an additional 135 homes together with a 5 bedroom respite facility for Health & Social Services will be presented to the Andium Homes Board in September.
The early development and completion of these homes was made possible by advanced funding by the States in 2012 and this will be repaid by Andium Homes this month, following the refinancing of Andium Homes through the £250 million Bond issue.
